I was thinking about getting home from the grocery store and cooking supper at about sunset tonight, when all of the sudden, I spotted the "super moon". I was mad at myself about forgetting about the moon being so close and of course I didn't have my camera with me! I raced home and got my camera and put on a different lens and jumped back in the car and went back down our road to get some shots. Later on, I walked out my back deck and there it was in all of its glory. Nope, I don't have a specialized camera, but how many times do you get a chance to take a picture of the moon that has not been this close in 70 years? It is so spectacular looking, that it almost looks fake. I assure you it's not! :)
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
